What does the ad colors on NeoBux mean?

Currently, there are 6 ad types on NeoBux, with similarities and differences

Extended, Normal, Mini and Micro ads

In the beginning, there were only three ad types: Standard, Extended and Fixed. All of them were counted in the viewed ad graph and used to give commission to referrals (That's why they're highlighted in yellow).

In 2010, a cheaper ad type were introduced: The mini ads, without categorization support and demographic filtering. They can be bought in larger quantities. Mini ads don't give commission

Almost a year later, Mini ads were introduced due to advertisers' request. These ad type can be bought in even larger amounts by a cheaper price. The exposure timer was reduced to 5 seconds and there is no description above the title like in Extended, Normal and Mini ad types. This ad exposure is the most popular option due to its accessibility. In one day, more than 100 micro ads can show up

Orange fixed ads

Orange ads differ regarding the pay and amount for each membership: The more expensive the membership is, the more daily orange fixed ads a member will get and the more worthy the daily ads will be. Until March 11, 2011, Standard members used to get four $0.01 orange fixed ads. But due to a change implemented by the Admin, the pay rate was decreased to $0.001 or 10% the initial value. Another meaningful point is the AdPrize changes: Every successfully clicked ad gives you 3 AdPrize chances. For example, a Ultimate member that click all ads and a Standard one with the same behavior the first one will get an extra 33 AdPrize chances because Ultimate members have 11 extra orange ads in relation to Standard ones.

Each membership has a minimum amount of ads in order to click and to receive commission from referrals. For Standard and Golden memberships, the minimum amount is equal to the daily ads count. For Golden members with Golden pack (Such as Sapphire, Diamond, Ultimate, etc.) they have 10, 12 or even 15 daily ads, but they need to click only on 9 ads in order to receive clicks from referrals.

Fuchsia fixed ads

The fuchsia fixed ads were introduced with the orange fixed ad pay rate change for Standard members: They were a public version of the warranted orange ads. They basically had the same appearance of a micro ad, with the difference to be based on a number of days being exposed despite the amount of clicks. They're identified with a fuchsia color in the icon and the title background

In 2012, They show description like Mini, Standard and Mini ads and are placed first according to the top-to-bottom order. The pay rate and the exposure duration is identical to micro exposure ad
